We are pleased to announce that three men who are studying for the diocesan priesthood at St. Joseph Seminary will be ordained as transitional deacons this year.

The transitional diaconate is the last phase of formation for a seminarian. As an ordained deacon, he can baptize, witness marriages, preside at funeral services outside of Mass, and preach the homily at Mass.
